Had a buddy run a celebrity wagon in a limited weld show this year. It had already been through one before. He took 2nd place. Had a carb setup and all the non essentials in the computer eliminated. As well as a tranny cooler. I took 5th in my underbuilt W body. The wagon seemed really good until he had to use the front.

Well took 6th in my 89 century, got water in the tbi and stalled the engine enough that it wouldn't refire. Car bent nowhere at all. Ran saturday night by a rookie whom chickened out.

Just some tips for those new on these cars if your sub frame goes up at all in front of the control arm put in on a trailer (be sure its heavy duty) wrap a strap around the front bumper to the trailer and then use a jack where the bend is and level or cold tilt the front end to make it level, this helps it from nosing. Then jack the car up with both front tires off the ground and weld the control arms down be sure that they are both even before you weld solid. If rules permit flatten the rear as much as possible and use a rear window bar. Use a trailer again and prebend the rear end up need at least a 5 inch difference to keep the rears from plowing believe me they do. If you need pics or have questions feel free to ask.

I have an 89 cierra I ran a while back and busted radiator and ran out of tranny fluid. Me being myself I held it wide open shifting into every gear trying to get it to pull but never did. I got home and looked the tranny lines together added fluid and now I don't have reverse but the car will pull forward in every gear except park and reverse... Any ideas?

Checked linkage to make sure it's actually moving on the transmission ?

I've got a 96 Buick century with the 3100 will go into gear but when you step on the gas it just bogs the motor. If you get it to move forward in drive then throw it in reverse and punch it car will go into reverse but trans clicks and when you slow done enough it locks in park
