That is because of the stupidly big "gas tank protector". First year running a gtp or even a fuel cell for that matter. I might have got a bit carried away with it tho. It's really not that much bigger than the fuel cell, just looks like it. Besides if you can use it, why not ? May isn't far off and then we'll all know for sure then. Picked up a Pontiac 6k and noticed the rear bumper doesnt have bumper shocks like the other A body cars. Just a bolt on bumper like the w body cars.
Also has the stupid 5x4 bolt pattern rims. Apparently all the 6000's had em.

1992 buick century 3.3 v6. I ran one last year, pretty good car depending on the promoters rules. just had a 1991 with same engine drop in my lap for this year. Do these cars have "limp mode" like the 3.1/3100, and if so do you by-pass it in the same ways?

Can somebody post a photo of an original front bumper from a cutlas cierra ......around a 1996 model. I found a bumper in my pile but can not remember what car it came of off. I have some photos of the car before and after the derby, but didn't take any from the front.

Think the original is an aluminum bumper. All the centuries had al bumpers and I think the cierra did too but not 100% bout that.
