Like he said, with a couple more details, Hornet is 108", Eagle is about 109.7 Remove the front differential (ten minute job with the engine and cv axles already out), and the Eagle will give you more engine/oil pan options than the Hornet/Gremlin.....simply more room to work with The angle that the 4x4 spindle on the Eagle puts the a-arms at, makes them easier to tear up, along with the upper ball joints. Closer inspection will reveal that the Eagle has a little more structural beef, front and rear. Eagle has a bigger tunnel to accommodate the transfer case. Rear axle is above the springs on the Hornet, under on the Eagle. ............. Getting an Eagle to pass inspection as a Hornet or Concord depends on the compact competence of the inspectors. With taking the front diff out of these cars do you have to replace spindles or what do you recommend

The front axles are cv style. When removing the front diff, the rest of the steering/suspension can stay intact, unless you choose to swap them. Whatever you drop in there, you will have to make your own mounts.

Ok cause I was told once you take it out you'd have to replace spindles since the axle holds on the front hubs And we have came to conclude am 8 inch fits in these Without major problems don't wanna buy oneand be disappointed

The opposite is fact. The hub holds the axle. Our SX4 Eagle is set up with stock spindles and no axles or diffy right now. Has a Buick 3.8 & 4 speed in it.

It is a much easier task than it appears to be. I was surprised at how quickly it came out.

Thanks in advance If you cannot swap bumpers, mount the stock one with bolts clear through it with large washers. They one of the stiffest aluminum bumpers you'll see, but they ARE aluminum. If you can get away with it, replace your upper ball joints with bolts.

Alright guys. Have an 82' spirit 4 banger. Day before the derby, fire it up and bursts into flames. Intake was full with fuel. Burnt up all wiring and cannot tell which wires are what on the ignition module. Is there a way to wire up a regular ignition coil to the distributor? Or does anyone have a wire diagram of these?
