That and always the battery tray. There floors are not too hard to patch though, and the unibody structure 9/10 are still solid. When I patch the floors i like to cut the bad sheet metal out then add a piece of 1/8 inch or so then trace on the patch underneath where the unibody is, flip it over, weld it, then drill holes and plug weld the new stuff into the unibody using the traced lines as a guide... All fixed!

How hard is it to get a sbc in one of these looking at buying one but don’t wanna spend tons of time just trying to get a motor in it Compared to putting one in a vic or a gm it's harder, but worth the work in the long run. It's eaiser if you have a front sump pan.

Is a 69 Lincoln 2 door any different then any other years? Depends if it's a Continental or a Mark series. Mark series are junk, continental's are the suicides. Easiest way to tell... look at rear suspension. Mark's have coil springs, suicides are leaf sprung.

Small tip, easiest way to tell if it’s a 69 Suicide of course the doors, but the front end “nose” is pointy unlike the 66-68 where they were flat.

Well I wish it would have known this about 2 years ago, had the chance to pick up a 69 2 door continental, wanted 500 and thought it wasn’t worth anything.

On my 66 the frame went down and out so the bumper is like 4 inches off the ground. Limited weld rules I got two ten inch plates left to use. Any idea will help thanks
