What's everones opinion on running grade 8 bolts for ball joints on these instead of stock ball joints thanks for the reply's Use grade 5 because grade 8 will shear myth. check out bolt science or engineers handbook. grade 8s are tougher period, the theory theyre more brittle just doesnt hold water. google grade 8 vs grade 5.

Use stainless steel bolts if you have access to them.

I run the trunks semi wedged/canoed and have better luck than when I used to tuck them. (not sure how to quote when posting off internet without using the reply method)

Get some 4-5-6 caddy rear brackets and use them for the front. Or even a set of Olds 98. The s curve in the front needs taken care of or it will blow right their.

Then figure out how to make your steering, front suspension tough-If you have money you might want to check into jokers centerlink/ball joint setup

I know that rh3 makes a balljoint setup Ronnie is a great seller too...I've heard of guys using 73-78 lincoln arms and spindles and the truck boxes. Guess gotta look elsewhere for centerlink idears...
