#1 = put a SBC in it #2 = don't use stock bumpers unless you "have" to #3 = short leaf if you can #4 - and most important = hit hard and often

how about steering. can you swap out a arms or don't worry about it I'd worry more about the steering linkage. How to move/change/stiffen it (very weak) rather than the A-arms. But this my opinion and experience only. (bent or broke the linkage 4 times, never bent or broke a single A-arm)

Ive always run box car Imps...but they were recently outlawed around me..trying to learn about these things now. Just started building one 69 2 door... and bought 2 more ;D the infamous battery tray spot was rotted out, I patched it and welded a plate on the frame for good measure. Trunk was rotted about 12" square, patched it. Drivers floor was toasty around the frame...patched it and plug welded the new 1/4" floor pan to the frame Its getting a pointy mopar welded straight to the beam next week. Im short leafing it with 9 per side, using my 360/727 and running a 9" with 4.56 welded gear....I can plate and chain the humps. What else am I missing?

whats the best year of a suicide to derby ? The front frames are the same from 61-69. The 61-63s' wheelbase is shorter than the others by a couple inches..

what are difficulties with putting a small block mopar in these? Easy Peasy, just cut down the center of the crossmember and have the oil pan set down in that area. Thats for a 360 though. Its been too long since we've messed with a 318 in one of these and they don't have enough power imo
