take an older truck box, pull the guts out and put the guts in the suicide box... then you have no worries of it fitting. guts are identical except for a few key parts that are plastic on the suicides.. Or so im told!
mid to late 60s, maybe early 70s.. The case looks similar, but the mounting holes are different. Internals are almost identical, but truck has heavier parts in some places... Some guys will just drill into the frame for new holes to make the box work, but have see a few pull through the new holes...

I am wondering the best way to set up the rear on a suicide with my rules. trunk can be welded solid, rear window bar, wedge, tuck, crease, body tight to frame, 5 springs and arch plate or 7 springs no arch plate, rear shackles welded solid 8" by 3" box.
also how well will a 350/350chevy and gm 10bia fit in one of these...its a 62 lincoln.
with the rules you posted for the rear, I would run 5 leafs with arch plates, shorten the leafs up and make custom rear hangers then tuck it directly over the rear shackles. crease rear quarters on an angle so they bend in behind the tuck.
350/350 with a 10bolt is easy, just cut the leaf perches off of the lincoln rear set your pinion angle, center it and weld..
