Thanks y r 14 hard to find? Factory 14" rims in the 5 on 5" bolt pattern are not very common.

Not sure about a 8 3/4 but I put a GM 10 bolt in mine. The only issues I had was the factory rearend was offset so I had to clearance some of the driveshaft tunnel.

would it be difficult to put a 8 3/4 rear in one of these? I put one in a Suicide this summer and it wasn't hard at all. My 8.75 was out of a truck so I cut the perches off the top and welded them back on the bottom of the axle tubes. I then used the original spring mounts from the Suicide to mount it the leafs. I think I might re-do some of it before I run the car again next year but it didn't give me any problems this year.

I think all the suspension and steering parts from 70s lincolns bolt right on. I'm pretty sure thats what i read off the old site. Dont quote me on it. Im sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

would a somewhat rusty 69 still hold up to a handfull of somewhat rusty impalas/225 and clean 03+ fords? is pro mod rules can weld 6 4x4x1/4 plates anywhere unlimited weld core support forward any bumper all that fun stuff.
i figure its got a pure weight advantage to push the newstyles around

Where is the best location to put the two front hood pins, was thinking about going through the beam and bolting? i can run 1 inch rod, sleeved with 1/8 in pipe.

i saw some one in this thread ask about steering box i cant find where it was but anyway ,the steering box on the suicide looks just like one from a 78 ford 2 wheel drive i striped a while back .
i never bult one of these cars know . do have to do lot of welding on them to have them be real tuff. i see one just one at meyem this year and i thought you not aloud to seam weld them just wondering ..
