Took out my booster for my brakes today and when i put the pin back into the master and was checking my pedal clearance i pushed the pedal and pin went in and the master stayed pressed fully. Is my master shot?

Great! Would a master off a chevy bolt up to it?

Anything will work with an adaptor plate. The last time I bought a master was $70. Worth it to me to have good brakes on the back. And switch it from car to car.

I like the master from early 70's Jeeps, the lines go inside instead of outside and they cost like twenty bucks at Autozone
Any master will fit, all it takes is a drill and a couple of bolts. Look elsewhere in this thread and you'll see pictures of this stuff

I guess i will dig mine back out of the scrap pile! I was just going to use rolled steel with a heim joint and a knuckle joint on the steering box
