My 1st real attempt at a metric wagon. It was a quick build with no plating and up against old iron. Got double teamed by an impala and a shocker. Learned a lot about these cars and can't wait for another one to fix my mistakes on.. Ran in Washington state in 1 derby. Still ran and wanted to move at the end but I was stuck in the mud.

Minor Damage. 2 inch hole in the oil pan, headers mangled pretty bad. starter solenoid cracked and pulleys bent a bit but still runs great!

The correct answer is, It's a 77-90. they are all the same from 77-90? Full size wagons, yes basically. Few minor styling changes but nothing that effects our use of them. 91-96 is the same basic build. They are considered "bubble" style rather than the 77-90 "box" style.

Nope. I've personally never ran either. I've only ran one wagon and it was a ford. All sedans for me.
I have ran box and bubble GM sedans. I felt like the 94-96 LT1 cars had a better front end. But that could just be in my mind.
That will be a question for the other guys on here.

Just picked up a crazy clean 83 impala wagon, building it for stock class so no hump plates, loaded bumpers or crazy rear ends but I can have engine cradle and seam welded bumper and slider shafts. This will be my first full size and first wagon so just lookin for tips on how to get rear end to no plow lol seen something about compressing spring's and doing a double notch while beating roof up and quarters down, don't know how to post a pic yet beING NY first post so I'll post a pic when I can lol
