I have a bubble caprice wagon . Pretty much a gut n go, no welding, no notching, no dimpling ,no prebending. Is there anything that comes to mind what a guy could do to not have it plow?

Don’t most of these have a c frame under cab thanks Wagons are boxed. Sedans are channel in middle. Some tilt at seam behind the firewall body mount where it meets side rail and others just behind the Trans crossmember. Here the link to tilting a gm. we-crash.proboards.com/thread/34575

Any one care to share their best experience tilting these? Yes ive read thru all 40 pages, plus the sedan and tilting gm pages. Looks like there's a few different ways to go about it but which do yall have the best luck? I'm aloud 22 inch hump plates, cradle with dp and pp, and 4 4x4 plates

tilt and dp and PP.... I'd focus all up in front of A-arms is going to be weak link... Between shocks and plates and your best judgment strengthen there. If any plates left over then S before firewall but dp should help a lot there and depending on GTP they like to dump in front of humps if rolling good....
Cut seams and tilt. Is been my best luck. Never done it but have seen guys cut pie out of S and pull them more straight and then use your plates over them. Then DP tight to firewall but if you can't do anything additional in front of A-arms it's going to go there hard.

Yea all im allowed in front of a arms is 10 inch shocks, think I can get by with 12 tho, plus the plates can go any where. Where would you recommend using the plates? I was thinking one over the idler holes on the outside and one on the inside of the s curve just in front of the firewall mounts.
As far as dumping in front of the humps, I know I doesn't stop it but in hopes of slowing it down I always wrap 9 wire or ratchet straps around the frame right where it flattens out to around the cage.

The experiences that we had with tilting is can you tilt that the transmission crossmember you won't have spacer up the engine mounts. We had to raise them up a inch since it made engine sit in it at angle and kicked up Trans in tunnel. Now if you spacer up your body like I see a lot more people doing you'll be fine but I like my body's tight to frame and engine to sit level. Out of my experiences I'll never tilt another. Only cold bend it. I don't like hole it kinks the rail vs cold bending.
But on your plates I'd try to get everything a arms forward to like cheesy saI'd then put some at firewall.

I wasn't aloud one during my build. And I guess I should of said we cut out a 1 inch pie when we did it at firewall and it dropped the front 9 inches that was completely straight with level then at Trans cross member was half inch and dropped it 9 inches there too.
