I asked ten different people this question when I built my first engine. My motor builder guy had the correct answer. Ask the piston maker.

I don't know if it's the same v6 they had in 94. I ran one dry blocked with a blown head gasket and couldn't kill it. I tried to blow it up.

Out of curiosity, has anybody tangled with a 5.3 vortec (LM7)? I have them readily available in my area for very cheap out of early 00’s gm pickups. I would like to do a carb conversion with a 6014 MSD ignition system if I were to go that route, I just don’t see any talk of them. Pros and cons of a stock and/or mild builds is what I’m hoping to find. Just asking around because I’m fairly new to the derby world and don’t want to get myself into something that would be a complete waste of time. I do have an ‘86 305 and a ‘79 2 bolt main 350, just trying to test the waters on something a little different. Thanks in advance guys. www.we-crash.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=gm&action=display&thread=14241

Ive only ever seen the diamond on a 75-76 impala. Didn't measure the difference in thickness. But definitely had the diamond hile on the front horns.

I think this is simply a test run by our government to see how we react. JMIO And Italy's government, and Germany's government, and France's government, and Switzerland's government.... Yup

Hardnosing makes the both frame rails bend together instead of independently. I will hardnose everytime Im allowed.
