Yes the heads are stock 906's. I wanna say it's the comp 290 roller series but don't quote me, I gotta find the spec card.

Vortec heads do not hold up to heat at all I have a friend the runs a wrecking yard her in phx az and he can sael them any time he has um in stock just put temp guage in car if you see the temp climbing shut it off

Looks to me they held up just fine in that video and you can't say that motor didn't get hot cause he wasn't pussy footing it

Couldn't agree more don't matter what heads or cam you run anything could happen. I wrecked some shit in my lower end couple days before my derby last year. Not sure what yet cause I didn't tear it apart yet. Still drove to a 3rd place finish.

Never said they were junk I was saying that they crack eazy if you heat them up if you want to buy cores that have cracks and need to be gone through pm me I have a set I will sale you can get more too

Never noticed a difference nor are the heads cracked.

just a quick question, not offending anyone, but since those are low end torque motors (stock heads= weak springs= low lift cam)... werent you makin er talk back a bit much for where your power curve is? that was an awesome clip anyway
