Anyone know who makes the brackets to bolt a s10 steering box on fords? I thought I saw it in here but couldn’t seem to find it now. You can get one from derby parts.com. If you can't find one I have an extra. Thanks man I’ll check it out. I wanna get like 3 and have them ready to go.

Have a question about 70s ford a arms on a box vic frame. Are you guys using the box vic a arm center bar and swapping them into the 70s a arms? Or using the stock 70s one and re drilling the mounting holes on the frame? Also width wise they are much narrower than the box uppers, just trim the a arm to clear the frame or beat and heat the sides unil i can get them to slip over the frame mounts?

Yes, what I wrote is what I discovered after trying them.

Ok, I guess I thought the mounting holes were the same. I’d just switch the mounting bar,, I would figure they would have lower drop

I move my holes out on box cars. Starting the tire at a lean outward before they get bent in.

Ive always ran metric GM upper control arms. Either Astro, S10, or full size cars, depending on what year metric Ford I was building. I have no experience to offer with the 70s ford control arms.
