Im running a sbc and i saw in the crown vic section a hose off of a I think77 mercy will work for the Saginaw pump to the ford box but do you knoe the make of the mercery

I've ran multiple times without power steering and realized that was my problem strongly recommend running ps

U can loop the lines that's what I do work for me got to have some kind of pressure on the box or it will break just fill the box up with fluid loop the lines

i have never ran with power steering and have never had the box break but it does suck. i will be running it this year.

Yes I snapped a finger in a Vic without ps when hit in the tires it spins violently also have broke them that way ps is a must on a Vic box

The shaft in the box breaks its milled down real little and that's were it breaks I've had 2 of em to do that to me take one apart and u well see what I'm talkin about the best thing to do is Chevy box and u well be good

I have never ran ps. But brake off an upper ball joint or get a tire laid over and u will want ps. I will be putting in ps this yr

much easier to drive with ps. also helps alot if you ever break a throttle and have to resort to your backup hand throttle. 1986 e-150 van with a straight six ps line also works with the chevy pump to ford steering box

This year we can not weld our a-arms down we have to bolt them. Any body know the best way to do this? We can have up to a 1" bolt. I can weld the bolt to frame but i was thinking of drilling a hole in a-arm and the coil spring pocket but upon looking up in the pocket not sure if i can do that or not. I don't run sbc i run big block fords and without doing anything the fender set on the tires so has to be pretty strong. Any thinkers out there? What is the best way to do this.

Put your all thread on the outside of the spring bucket behind the ball joint. Ball joint protector.
