my rules state you can shorten top spring by 12 in and clamp between top 2 springs. I understand that part. But what is the best way to remount that spring to the frame. It is on a unibody car.

My rules state back suspension must move some. I have a at that came with 5 leafs and I am going to add 2 leafs one on top of the main flipped and the. Another one somewhere in the pack, what I am wondering is if I should flip that second one also or do u guys that it will make it to stiff and not move at all? Or should I just flip the added leaf in top if the main and just add a leafs the regular way in the pack? Also the rear leafs will be shortened 10 inches

maybe make a U out of flat stock and wrap it around spring put a jack under it to make sure it is tight and weld it to your mount

What do you guys prefer? Clamps or no clamps? We're allowed 6 clamps on each side max. I've heard stories of some guys saying that if you clamp em u will sheer the pins out? But I've heard other people say that it makes it stronger if you clamp down the leafs. Running a y framer.

On the pick above. Definitely do as Jugulator said. Round off the back of the spring mount as much as you can. I didn't on one of the first vics i leafed and hit so on the leaf bracket that it blew the frame out ahead of the spring mount. Looks good btw.
