Need help. I have points dist. I hooked wiring up correctly. I have power from battery to switch to both sides of coil. To point. Rotor turns. New plugs. Still no spark. Bad distrib. Or what fan I do. I'm lost

Or what fan I do. I'm lost Don't put power to both sides of coil. 12V power to positive side of coil negative side of coil to distributor. Give that a try.

I worded that wrong. I have power to positI've side. Distributer wire on negitive. Got power all tge way to my points . Just no spark off cap to plugs

The rotor is inside the distributor right? its not sitting on top of the air cleaner or something like that is it? not that I would have ever done anything like that...

Here is my question. Got power go to the coil no spark. Tried diff coil no spark. I have power going to the coil coil to the distributor negative going to the distributor I don't use resistors never had to what am doing wrong any help

Pickup from distributor to negative on the coil. Is this a points dizzy?

So how about wiring up a 5.7l hemi? Anybody know of any good harnesses for getting rid of sensors? Really looking into trying this

i have 1987 dodge dakota with a v6 all wiring has been taken out. how can i wire up the distributor it has 3 wires coming out of it?
