My local show is 98.5" wb, and up until this year it had to be 4 lug/4 cylinder , we still are at 98.5" and under but can be 5 lug and 6 cylinder, its hard to find cars for this class

On top of a stack sat a car with only 3 lug nuts, being a punk kid I climbed ontop of a wrecked truck to examine what it was. It turned out it was a Citroen Visa. What that was doing in central Illinois salvage yard I'll never know. Literally the one and only I've ever seen. No real pertinent information to anything, other than you guys were talking about the lug nut count.

Ive done this a couple times. I run 1 show that if you qualify for the feature you can use any other car in the derby that made at least 1 hit in its heat. More than once Ive brought two cars and if I qualify with the first one, I make one hit in the heat with the second car and bring the fresh one to the feature.

More than once Ive brought two cars and if I qualify with the first one, I make one hit in the heat with the second car and bring the fresh one to the feature. So what's their purpose of making it "driver qualifies" rather than "car qualifies", hoping that drivers bring multiple cars and increase the car count? If so, does this increase the quality of the show overall? Or do you just end up with a show where lots of cars in the later heats shut down after one hit?
