I have a '79 R body and a '77 Aspen which is like a '80's Diplomat. Neither one would be an easy job.

I'm just waiting for someone to build a aftermarket "bolt in" K frame or cradle for these like everyone is doing for the 03+ Fords.

That's not how you get ahead of anyone in the game.

I agree, but that's what most things have come to know days.

Pair of Magnum wagons run a very stock appearing V-6 class in Canada. Took some big hits and kept going. Lack of traction/stock tires took out the cars. Strength wise they look stout even if it's vs FWD mid size. Maybe in our modern limited weld/stock full size class Vics will be getting some competition in the future. With engine swaps, sliders and suspension tweaks these look like viable cars for the future. Look forward to seeing some in the future.

How hard would it be to stuff a 350 in there and have enough room for a radiator up front without chopping the firewall all to hell and how thick are the front rails.. I can hard-nose to one with no bumper shocks... Allowed to shorten also... Would it be worth trying to build for the stock class or still get eaten by a 98-02 most likely

The frame is not very thick. I would try it I ain’t scared. I don’t think 350 will be hard they come out with 5.7 Hemi lot of room

It would have some potential if there was another sub that could fit them so that it would come up to brace the front rails more.

Someone also brought up the aluminum suspension parts, not all of them are aluminum. I'm not sure of models and years but I have two with cast steel suspension parts right now. I was also able to get 15" wheels on the front by changing the tie rod geometry too. I just seen this, do you have any pics of how you changed up the tire rod geometry? And was it on a 2wd or awd model?

2wd model, I just cut the ball joint out of the tie rod end and welded washers top and bottom of the tie rod end. Used a grade 8 bolt to go through the tie rod end and put it on top of the steering arm. This gives enough clearance to put the 15" rims on. I don't ever run front brakes, so calipers and brackets have been taken off too.

Update. I've been working on the Charger all summer here and there getting ideas from other brands, especially FWD cars. I've replaced the upper and lower A-arms and spindles to get something better than stock. I haven't completed it yet so I don't know if everything will work together for sure. Once I get it finished, I'll post some pics.
