Update: the magnum is stripped of its interior. the show i was going to take it too this fall decided that station wagons are no longer allowed in the stock class only pro stock class so its been put on the back burner for now. Hopefully there's enough out cry from a stupid rule like that to have it changed back next year.

Started working on my Chrysler 300 same platform as the magnum. These cars come with factory 17” rims after much cutting and grinding I have shaved off the callipers enough to accept 16” rims. The car is going to a dawn of destruction. Figure 8, flag pole, auto cross and finish it off with a demo derby.

Pretty much stock build. Door plate, post 2 post. If it doesn’t get mangled Ill bring it home and probably pro stock the car. Swap rear ends ect ect.

Ran my 300. Didn’t get a chance to derby it tranny lines got cut didn’t have time to fix it. Which I’m glad cause I want to actually build it a little so it won’t be a 1 hit wonder.

Looks like the tranny cooler got hit Your exactly right. It Got smoked, lost all that red fluid on the ground. Didn’t feel like looping the lines saved for the next one. Normally I loop the lines on all compacts but was rushed for time on this lite build

I have a close friend that works for Chrysler who works on these cars. The rear end to remove the differential cover is a 2hr job he said for a experience mech. In order to weld the gears together. The cover is bolted to the rear subframe cross member.

Got the 300 up on the mini lift, starting to move all the electrical up and out of the way. Going to remove the abs unit next I can get some ramps like that for free about 160" long. How do you like working at that height?? Juat under 3 feet tall seems like an odd height to work but thinking about grabbing them

How do you like working at that height?? Juat under 3 feet tall seems like an odd height to work but thinking about grabbing them I have up to this point been working on the ground with a couple jack stands laying on the ground. This feels like the best thing in the world I don’t mind working under it better than laying on my back. This sits at 28” high with the 2” stones so 30” not bad I plan to lay ply wood so i can sit on a roller and wheel around. I’d recommend grabbing them if you can. 100%
