I guess we're the only ones. This one getting ran again. Needs a new bumper, balljoints, tie rod, motor mounts, and some hammering.

1987 Fifth Avenue that still needs a couple small things to be done...
Will run in some kind of "Semi-stock show" (Could add 4 more body bolts, swap rearend and bumper).
This one has a 8 3/4 and a 80's front bumper. Will see how it goes!

It's leaf spring why did you dimple the body to help roll it? Curious bc I'm lookin at running one in stock but will flat stack the leafs an swap rearends so I can run my 21 inch tall bobcat tires on rear

I just slightly notched the top frame right behind the bumper shocks and prebent it a little bit to help going up instead or down. I didn't really like the "stock configuration" of the frame ends bending down. I also tucked it and when I prebent at the tuck with a tractor, the body dimpled a bit... it looks worst on the picture than it really is...
I will see how it goes in a couple of weeks. i'll post some afters...

I do not notch or prebend per say but I tuck the trunk and then I prebend at the top of the quarter panel right behind where the leaf perches end.

To clarify the goal of this would be to get it to roll right behind leaf perches and back in so that it doesn't go sky high right behind the back windows.

Do u not chain your body to ur rearend? On my leafed cars it's flat stack them chain them an let it go an they roll right behind the leafs. Are the 80 up mopars different?

Yes I chain the body to the rear end but I do this so I control where it rolls. 80s shouldn't be too different, same basic principles apply.
