Play Video for details on game development. "Real Demolition Derby" Plan B: Go check out our page for Demo Derby. This will definitely work. And people will get access and cool stuff. Some will even be drivers in the game. Be a part of demolition derby history! gamemechanics.com/projects/demo-derby/

the DDF8 Modder MADMAN, has compiled a list of features he would like to see in the game...
I have also sent in a list, but here is his..
-Flying Mud -Cars "Fold Up" as derby persists -Bumpers, wheels, and certain parts of the car fall off, BUT NOT DOORS -Breakable sticks that are controlled by a button on the keyboard (you get asked to do it after your time has run out, if not disqualified) -Customizable cars including brush tool for painting your own cars, many common derby wheels with the ability to paint those too. Maybe a upload your own image option? -Ability to make a car pre-ran before entering derby. -Different heats including: compacts, mid-size, full-size, chain-stock, weld-stock, outlaw, compact trucks, full size trucks and vans, combines? buses? RVs? Team derbies -Career mode!!! We need one! (Junkyard, Driving truck to the track with current car on trailer) -Car models taken from common derby cars (roundbacks, caprice, etc.) -New and different Real local, regional, national tracks (at least a couple from Minnesota like Howard Lake and maybe elk river??) I don't think they could get sued for this?? -Gas leaks, fires, car rolls and other hazards that occur rarely, heat stops to fix problem. -Drive on track before heat starts -Late 60's Hearse & Ambulance -Welding and torches, show you welding and torching spots on car -Different headers -Consolation Heats -Push out boundaries at entrance(s) -easier but still hard to get hung up on the borders, making it more of a hazard (but still keeping the game fun). -A return of original car paints and AI driver paints. (special blend, not every one?) -TOTAL CUSTOMIZATION! of tracks and cars and drivers or engine that is somewhat easy to mod. This game should last us for another 14 years! -Track wetness, turf, size selection? (kinda like dirt track racing)

Well I just supported the game as a car designer. My wife was not happy that I spent the money, but the orginial of this game was one of the best derby games I ever played, so how could the socond one not be even better.
I totally agree the game needs a single player career mode. As we move forward, I will also add some more suggestions.

Supported the game today. I hope to see this as it has been going in the past. Hopefully the designer will listen to the above post as that was many ideas I had that would make this game a great game. Maybe a few added things later but you always need to start somewhere!

This is totally a no brainer. For $20 donation and up you get a digital copy of the game. Seriously cheap. I have spent that much just to watch one derby...4 or 5 hours of fun. With a new derby game you'll get to play at home or online against some real competition for as long as you want. If you have not played the original game online with 4 or 5 other people at once you don't know what your missing. I have and can say you won't be disappointed if this game does get made. I'm not generally a fan of online gameplay. But for a demolition derby game it really is the ultimate way to play. No AI can ever substitute for another driver with their own style. It's like the hardest hitting derby you've seen but you get to drive. And you don't even have to build the car or worry about a knot on you head when you hit your head on the door post or steering wheel.

Last time I asked I was trying to get us over $1000 and we made it. This game is funded by the support of the derby community, myself included. I want to discuss THREE ways that you can HELP.. 1) Join the demo derby project as a Team Member, You are going to get the game, so get it earlier..Its basically a preorder. 1a) read all the levels of pledges and choose what you want and can afford. Many people are going for the Car Designer and Driver, as well as Senior Team Member, Crew Chief ahd Mechanic. $20 is awesome and $200 is really awesome, To help fund this project follow this link and click on what you want to be. gamemechanics.com/projects/demo-derby/2) Ok, the other thing that can be done is pretty easy. DEMO DERBY needs votes on STEAM, it needs to get more votes then the other games. The more votes it gets, will get it distribution support. People are voting for the game and liking what they see, let's add ALOT MORE VOTES!!! Go here and vote.. steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=617538647and of your not on steam... 3) Finally Word of Mouth is the Best way to spread this game around. Copy the links to your facebook page and ask your friends to share. And lets get votes and go over $1500 raised...we are that close. SHARE SHARE SHARE Lets get us a real derby game...
