My personal opinion is I think he is doing to cater to the old iron. The more I look at the car with the factory body mount in it I am not going to run because I don't want to destroy another radiator. When most of the older guys ran we never had the advantage of a certain car being able to due a certain thing to make it better... That is why it is called a stock class... You guys have become spoiled with certain promoters letting this stuff go on for way too long... So basically your guys argument is that since you want to be able to tilt your cars on the fords, my answer to that is to let the old iron to run kickers? Sounds about fair don't it? jdf

Kickers are way different story then cold bending and tilting. If you allow cold bending or tilting what makes you think the fords going to be stronger than the old iron? If you allow cold bending ONLY then old iron can do the same thing even ball game for both old and newer style cars. I mean you allow rear kickers which doesn't make much sense since you are allowing sliders now. Get rid of rear kickers and allow everyone to COLD BEND. Just my Opinion

Just my Opinion They are really not rear kickers because they do not go to the rear frame rails.... It is a safety issue and will help so the frames do not separate away from the bodies a easy... On a side note I should let imperials run in stock class since I am catering to old iron? jdf

I wouldn't mind some space allowed from the core support to the frame on a stock untilted old iron or ford just to get the radiator and hood up some. I never used to do that on old iron cars but tried it last year and it did seem to help keeping the core support together a little longer. It was only 3-4 inches tall.
