Exactley Rodger how do you make a BS call like that in the middle of the weekend it benefitted who it was supost to And who was it supposed to benefit? Be mad at the promotors not the guys that took advantage of what they where given .. What where we supposed to do say no Tim and Russ we don't want any weld on our cars . We didn't ask for it .. They gave it to us .. If anyone is to blame it's smash it not the guys that used it to there advantage ..

Any idea who has the 2.3 cradles for sale that were there? I had to work but heard they were nice and my "friend" didn't get the guy's name and number. Thanks

Thanks to all of the people that bought items off of us over the weekend and to those that just stopped by to say hi. The bash has been great in the past and this year definitely did not disappoint. I feel that the following drivers/ cars deserve a honorable mention:
Tom Dillman and Wil Zak for tearing the crap out of each other in TBTC heat 2.
Jeremy Hinen and Matt Foss for creating what I feel to be the most craziest action I've seen in all of bash for cash history in TBTC heat 3.
Trent Conrad and the gentleman in the boat tail Rivera in the TBTC consi for going wide open and creating all types of carnage.
I know that I am leaving many hard hitters out (I missed TBTC heat 1 which sounded pretty crazy) but a sincere congrats to all of the crowd pleasing drivers out there. As for myself, it appears that my car created a nice ramp in the 80s class heat 1. Not how I was hoping the heat would go but you win some and you lose some. There will be at least one Buergel in a cadillac next year for the TBTC class in which we are looking forward to.
Thanks guys,
Nate

It is not at all towards the drivers I think 100% it was a BS call by Smashit it didn't state in the rules this was going to happen it was changed over the weekend because some people took on damage that could not be fixed without some frame repair and they got there way do you think Smashit came up with that out of the blue in the middle of the weekend and said hey let's throw a twist in and let everyone weld on frames where they are damaged or do you think someone whinned about not being able to fix there car the way it needed to be to compete again And I can't blame anyone that did because all of a sudden you was aloud

Just 1 thing that has me thinking, why do they not inforce long sleeves and or a fire suit(I know there not cheap) in this big of a show? I think all of the county shows around here make long sleeves a must. I know its warm out and even warmer inside the car but if a tranny line breaks (with the kind of hitting that was being laid down) driver safety should be on the top of the list. I was not there, This is just what I was thinking while watching the video and enjoying the hits. There is nothing bad ment about this just asking. I know every promoter has there reasons for this and that, that's why im asking.

At big shows like this it seems to be more personal responsibility for that type of safety. I guess they figure the best drivers in the country are smart enough to have that freedom. I know at mayhem I saw guys wearing shorts and motorcycle half helmets.
