Just wondering what's up with the unlimited welding in the 80s class after the heats?? Was that in all tbtc class too? Just curious! I just started to hear about this. Not bashing anyone just wondering! Also I thought the cars were secure so how did they cut gas lines! Who does that??!!!

Made the trip for the first time. Enjoyed the show. The 70's wire class was INSANE. I want to give a kudos to EVERY driver in that heat. You guys are the REASON we come to these shows!
Got to meet some really cool people and even met my new idols, the "Cadillac Heaven" crew. Finally got to meet Stromi, too. Was enjoyable. Hell of a run, sir.
I have expressed my opinion about the 80s class before, so I won't express it again.
Old Iron drivers - you rocked!
Let the TBTC class have all of the protector and kickers they allow the 80s class. It's funny how the harder-to-find cars are the cars people are not afraid to tear up.
Some people derby for the rush and to put on a show. Some people do it for strictly the money. They don't give a damn what the crowd thinks.
Obviously all the fans know which drivers are which. Pretty pathetic when a squirrel on the track gets more cheers than the drivers in the heat. "Just saying."

Did anyone else think that the cops were being dickheads this weekend? Especially Sunday not letting people go to their cars when they were pushed off the track

Can we just start the weekend over? Bash was a great time as always. 80s class was a little slower paced than last year but tbtc made up for that. 70s wire class was insane, best heat I've seen in a long time. Cant wait til next year.

Pull out the kickers or reduce the seam weld up front to disable the cars quicker and pay top 3 maddogs 3500 2500 and 2000 to make it worth it in the features. Stop derby if bagging happens use hot pink spray paint to paint big targets on the offenders and offer a bounty on them cars of 500 per lick if maddog worthy. You do that and ill pitch in 500 of my money just as a spectator. Take that shizz right to the bank. Now lets talk some shizz on that deal. The crowd will let you know if a maddog is doing his work on track. Enough said. I've been to Mayhem and if I ever go back I'll bring a good book and sell race fuel to the drivers. For a good time go to the Bash for Cash! If you think these are intelligent reasonable ideas maybe you should promote a show Memorial day weekend to compete with the Bash for Cash. Or maybe you should build a car and be the Maddog. Hey man I'm just trying to throw out ideas to keep the premium marquis class in the event from becoming the OFFICIAL time to take a piss between TBTC Heats so you dont miss any real action. I have always supported Smashit and have been going to the events since Marysville 1994. They didnt get this way by not adjusting and continually improving. I'd build a maddog car myself if I my back could take it anymore. I will also readily admit I dont have the skill to build a competitive car in that class. All of that said we go there all 13 thousand of us to see destruction. Apparently Im not the only one-as the classes that are making the news are the classes with maddogs and cars that BEND! You take out Shane Jones, Hickman and Zack Campbell from those heats and they were snoozers. Literally there were dudes layed out and asleep in the stands...I mean seriously come on! I'll throw my money into a maddog award-how bout you to keep the 80's class entertaining..... I'm gettin old but I dont need to piss every other heat that TBTC isnt on the track. Hats off to BOTH the wire ups and the TBTC classes. You absolutely made the show! All of the one and done classes were entertaining making JUNK! 80's guys I highly respect your builds and money/time invested. I love the look and the sound. Its just taking too long to bend those beyatches. It has become a game of front passenger wheel fold over then your out. Nothing else ever really breaks or bends. Just some comments on how to improve the greatest show in the country. I've been to Mayhem and if I ever go back I'll bring a good book and sell race fuel to the drivers. For a good time go to the Bash for Cash!

They say Indian Badminton tournaments are entertaining as hell but I'll never know because I wouldnt pay to see that shizz. Take a heat video of that 80's class and see if you can get someone whose never been to a derby to pay and watch it live. It wont happen. Just trying to keep the sport alive.

If you like the wire class action so much maybe you should check out Metal Mayhem for a good time.
