Ok the whole chain rule on motor says 16 chain can be welded to motor but not Welded to frame....can it be bolted to frame? You still aloud to put chain front faceplate to frame and bolt?

I'm a fwd guy but I think the rwd in compacts should be aloud to run kickers just because of car design. rwds are designed to bend at the cowl for safety reasons in a crash. I believe kickers in rwd would make an even playing field. If any other fwd or rwd guys want to talk or discuss this rule you need to speak up !!!!

Speakup? it doesnt matter. Last week it was weld all top side seams firewall forward on a compact. Now its 1 seam. Guess what I did last week weld all my top side seams. No wonder noone gets into this anymore with all this bullhonkey involved. It's easier to just listen to wife bitch all day than too listen to someone tell me how to build a derbycar. At least my wife cooks everyonce in a while.

How many top seams there on a compact? I run big boy cars so I don't really know. Are you counting fender seams as top seams? Strut tower seams??? Just asking....

It never said 1 seam it said TOP seams firewall forward there's alot seams on the top of a W body and I'm not talking the seams on the sides. Once again I guess more unwritten rules that are or are not actually rules

Top as in "top frame/sub frame seams"? Plural meaning both sides? I'm just asking, to try to figure out how a lumina is beating a spirit.
