And the only rules we have is motor and tranny must be the one for the car, and cannot be altered/modified in anyway.

The part of the body that the bumper bolts to, is considered the "frame" on a unibody. Def add plate their, especially at the Crush pockets. A arms I wouldn't be afraid, if you wanting to beef anything up the suspension, struts are the most important.

Shove pipes down the front frame rail as far as possible.

The trailing arms I stuff them with a rod or sleeve them with pipe or angle iron, then weld solid. I would focus on the struts as well.

Just to get a idea, my avatar pic is a car i built for our last Armageddon on wheeles. And the rear control arms just got mangled all to hell. Thats why i was asking about any ideas on how to make them stronger.

Shove pipes down the front frame rail as far as possible. Whatever the method used I would reenforce bumper to firewall and then tie firewall into the cage, then which would be tied into everything else. Can't wait to see pics of this beast !

Just torch a hole on each side of firewall for a kicker to pass threw, then run kickers from dash bar to right behind front bumper.

I was up against a 67 Cadillac hearse with a 3/4 inch "i" beam for a front bumper. And it held up pretty good the nose, but the rear just got hammered hard as you can see from the driverside.
