We can run dp and trans braces. Rules don't state yes or no on protectors but I have ran dp and trans brace in past. No one else does. I've been thinking of trying to get by with pp and cradle.

Well if you can get away with a DP I don't see any reason they would bitch about a cradle. Alot of bone stock shows allow cradles and PP. Regardless, if you don't have most or all the toys I wouldn't push it back.

The reason you jam it all back is to help brace the front end. If you have no protectors it would cause more problems for ya just a busted trans.. no biggie.. lol If you are not running any protectors you might want to port-cheat some clearance for your transmission so it dont break...

That is freaking genius, but ya would likely never get noticed on hobo type build and certainly wouldn't have an specific rule pertaining to it. Plus if your allowed to Prebend there's a arguable point there.

I know how to put my sbc in 70s fords now without chopping the floor up.
