I was given the promoters phone # to call Sam Mackey @ 3092970334, but he hasnt returned my calls or messages.. so i guess he doesnt care about the car count... So if someone is up to it.. flood him with calls and hopefully you will have better luck.. let us know..

i called him and he called me back within 5 minutes he said there will be seperate classed for wire and welded in both the oval and figure 8 but he is trying to push the purse towards the wire cars unless there is a ton of welded cars because hes trying to year by year weed out the welded cars completely and having a wire class show but he said he couldnt set a purse for 1st until he gets car counts that day and he said for the demo if it isnt "wire" and dosent fit in the wire rules it will be welded no matter what unless there are 6ish+ "outlaw" cars but he said he cant call it an outlaw class so if there are welded and outlaw cars he will have a light weld and heavy weld class.

I have been told the rules are posted somewhere here, but hate to admit I have yet to find them. If someone comes up with them, contact me on www.PrimeBeefFestival.com (as I know those are 2 years old...but have yet to discover the replacement) I quized last meeting and will hit it hard setup day on Monday. When I find them I will post them on our website and here just to be sure. Preston - PBF Web

Thats what i never understand bout monmouth....mackey always says if it doesnt fit the "rules"(which they are nowhere to be found) u will run weld? Sooo we wait till week/day of show to find out whats allowed??? This happens every year at monmouth!! Got a ton of guys willing to run the show but never know what to bring!! Maybe we will get yelled at again at the drivers meeting for giving our suggestions....even after they ask for them! Guess u cant b overbuilt when theres no rules???
