For the Figure 8 the track was a huge improvement compared to the oval but they still need to work on a list of rules to post a month or two in advance. They need to just say they will run Stronghurst/Roseville rules to make things easier. If all the tracks in the area would run the same rules/classes it would work for a better car count. Everyone doesn't need to be trying to do their own thing. Thing do need to bump the wire pay up to $500 but it doesn't pull enough cars yet for the full $1000. Maybe in a year or two. It is hard to get cars for such a low pay out.

Any word on the weld rules? I would like to run this derby in 2014. Are the rules usually run what you brung? Or cut the frame open from front to back weld in anything you want and close it up paint the frame and call it good? Not interested in either of those options really.
