What everyones opinions on seat belts? Its not a question on wearing then or not wearing them, but factory lap/shoulder belt or harness?
Just trying to see what ppl run, at times i still get nervous to go head on due to head/neck injuries even with a neck brace on.

I use the stock shoulder and lap belt. I tape the lap so it won't suck in and the shoulder belt helps keep my face off the steering wheel.

I won't ever wear the shoulder strap again (lap belt or harness I'll wear) But I got a pretty wicked laceration on my neck once from the stock shoulder strap.

Just a lap belt for me, I like to be able to turn around pretty easy and I have always been afraid of breaking my collar bone from the shoulder belt

Four point harness for me. I run them loose enough to turn around (not that I ever do) but tight enough that I cannot hit the steering wheel. I run retired (outdated) race car belts.

Stock shoulder/lap. We vise grip the lock gear, and then put a bit of spot weld on gear.

I run the lap and a loose shoulder belt. I cut the shoulder belt from where it ties to the car body, then tie a knot in it so it won't pull though the thin loop it goes through from the factory. I make it so it's only restraining me right before I hit the steering wheel, so it's really loose.

I use to use just the lap belts of a 5 pt harness but ate the steering wheel last year(with full faced helmet) this year I used the shoulder straps as well, left them loose and taped some foam around them. they worked great
