On the front of either my 76 fury or 68 fury. I'm aloud to weld all seems and weld all mounts shocks etc. I was just wondering how they held. And one more question guy I work with gave me the bumpers off his 73 challenger they seem like that have a descent backing to them has any body ever used them before and how did they work. Thanks the fury bumper will do you just fine on both cars, but if you are planning on zapping it onto the y framer. you had better box in the y's and plate everything from the a arms forward. if you don't you will blow out the y's and and collapse the section in front of the a arms even faster and pullies will be chewing up the rad an be ripping off belts before you know it.

I dont have one nor the access to one so Im hoping somebody will help me out.
Looking for the specs on a Yorker V. Wanting to make a pretty nice replica. Not some thrown together, bale spear looking thing.
Looking for the measurement from the back face of the backing to the front of the point and where the angle starts to come out on both sides for the point, so basically the "triangle". Height and width would be cool too for replication purposes.
Im the kind of guy that likes to make nice, well thought out pieces. So if somebody is willing to help out I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

IMO.... the Nyer bumpers WITH the Grill holes are stronger... especially when you seem weld them... Why not run the whole car instead of just the bumper?

got a 78 doba bumper. going on a compact. only allowed to seam weld, not allowed to add any metal. are these good enough to hold up for compacts? (mainly cavaliers, camrys and hondas, nothing too serious)

Yes it'll be fine. Although a Camry might be hard enough to break it. They are pretty tough in the front.

Is there any difference in strength between a pointy with vent holes and one without? Should anything be done to a pointy that has the vent holes? Comparing them both with having outer shell welded to the backing.
