Is a 71 nova front bumper any good? After reading the post you put up the last few times with the list of cars. You should have steel backed bumpers already. The Buick should be all steel front and back. The olds are a hit and miss but I seen one with a rear that was all steel. If need be take a rear bumper and put it on the front. Good bumpers won't tweak quick and will take some of the leverage off frame.

Running a stock show and have a 75 limited but we are not allowed to flip bumper. Also have a pre run 73 off of a round back. Which bumper would you run? Also no loading or seam welding.

Switch the bumper brackets from one side to the other and u shouldn't have to flip it

A 73 chevy impala/caprice bumper is nothing more than a chrome skin. So yes the 75 is way better

My bad should have specified. The wagon was a 731/2 car. It has the shock bumpers. But think I'm going to look into swapping the brackets. Thanks for the help guys!

Not many people run the caddy bumpers so Im not sure how they hold up. What kind of car are you running it on?

Are 73 Cadillac Fleetwood front bumpers just a skin or would they be similiar to lets say a 73 Olds front bumper?

Are 73 Cadillac Fleetwood front bumpers just a skin or would they be similiar to lets say a 73 Olds front bumper? They are similar to the 73-76 Cadillac bumpers. They have a steel backing but they are very narrow and I have no clue on how strong they are. I've never seen anyone run one.

This is a 73 Fleetwood bumper with bottom cut off. This is after 4 runs in a chain and go class! Sold car at the derby with bumper on it. Had plenty of life left. Was great for axles and tire shots
