Maybe that was answered before... but I have the chance to buy some GM SS Rims. They look to be painted from the factory. Are they the same thickness as the chrome ones?

Yes just off set is different Thanks!! Some had the same offset, some are different. There is like 3/4" difference between the two. I just tried to make sure they were matching pairs before I bought them.

I picked up 4 Buick Ralleys site unseen kinda deal without realizimg they weren't the 15x6 that I'm used to running. They are a 15x7 and the center isn't 1 piece like the 6 wides either. Are they just as good when used on the back? Or did I waste my money. They are the ones in the front right

Those are magnum 500s I believe. Popular on old muscle cars. I have a set like that but 14s. Haven't used them yet.

Wouldn't quite say aftermarket. They came factory on a lot of cars. I did the same thing, saw them at the junkyard, mistook them for Buick ralleyes. I'm still gonna use them.

Not to argue with you guys but they are not aftermarket. They do have some aftermarket ones that are close but those pictured are originals. I've run Buick Rallys for 20 years and alot of guys don't understand the differences in the 2 sets. I've even bought them from many guys that didn't even realize what they had until i showed it to them. The 15x6s are Big Bolt (5x5) 71-76 Buick Electras, LeSabres etc and will fit 71-76 GMs and the 15x7s are Small Bolt (5x4.75) GM. The small bolts came out on the older 71-72 midsize Buick Skylarks, GSX etc and then again in the 80s on the Buick LeSabres, Electras etc. Measure the bolt pattern on the 2 sets and you will see that i am correct. The 15x6 are 5x5 and the 15x7 are 5x4.75. Also if you look at the 5 cut out slots in the black painted area they are slightly different in size and length. The quickest easiest way to distinguish between the 2 is simply what you stated...if they are the one piece rim or 2 piece rim. As far as the 14s those were on older mid to late 60s Buicks and also the smaller 80s Regals. Lots of guys run the 14s on the 3rd gen camaros around here. But anyway...Hope all this helps.

You are correct, they are 4.75. Guess I'll throw them on my midsize rim pile and run them on a Monte someday.
