Where are you checking the fuel pressure? Could be clogged injectors.

Any opinion on running the front wheels on a Isuzu Rodeo? Doesn't sound like a good idea, running your drive tires with lockout hubs thru the transfer case depending on the T-case chain to hold. But my rear frame behind the axle is rusted out horribly, figured I'd ask. Rules specify one driveshaft or the other must be removed from 4wd vehicles.

Heres how I look at it. if the rear frame is shot and likely to spit the rear driveshaft, why run it rwd? We ran an astro front wheel drive because the clamp holding the rear end to the springs was all rusty and it would take much to break them. It worked fine, till a drivers door got in the way.

I'm just concerned the T-case chain will not hold up. The axle will have a pipe brace to the frame, then chained to the frame. It's rusted real bad on the rear side of the humps. It's gonna crumple and bend right away, I'm hoping the braces will hold the axle in place well enough. Tough call.

How did you tilt it and rules won't let rear end swaps and I wanting to lower rear any tips on how to If you look at the front Fram rails by the firewall, there is about a 1" hole. We took a pie out of the bottom of the frame right there. In return, it tilted the frame down 3" and damn near closed up that hole. We then ran a bolt and washers through the hole to close it solid.

what do you mean you took a pie out of the bottom. does that hole line up on the bottom also,,, and you obviuosly have the motor in it to make it bend down, and tilt.in the crease where it bends though would it be better to weld the "pie" shut and on top also, and do you guys stuff the frame and is it any better to fold the bed and lean the tailgate in toward the cab, and in order to do that should I cut the back of the frame angled towards the cab or should I leave it how it is and just beat it in

I've been doing it my self both my first builds but they were junk. I'm wondering about raising the core support and keeping the a arms down. I've got the body work covered. But also need help on modifying tie rods and a arms. Thanks in advance

I've been doing it my self both my first builds but they were junk. I'm wondering about raising the core support and keeping the a arms down. I've got the body work covered. But also need help on modifying tie rods and a arms. Thanks in advance 1st, there are no a-arms, there are radius arms, i-beams, and Springs. I usually use a 2x2x1/4 tube as a shock to gain height. Bolt and weld the cab to the bed as much as possible, it'll help hold the rear down. If you are allowed kickers from your cage to the frame, use them! Gas tank protectors and down bars to the frame help tremendously. You need to address how you will keep the front horns straight, it's crucial if you are planning on keeping the truck through a few derby. Big tip, don't use a super hard bumper. I've found that a seam welded box vic bumper does the job perfectly. You want that bumper to bend before the frame. Now the tierods, get some 1"x1/4" angle iron, and weld it the length of the drag link and steering arm, they bend really easy. If you are allowed, run a good rear bumper, and drop the tailgate to the top of it, and weld it solid. Use 1" all thread through the bed floor with plates to adjust ride height. I usually run mine tilted a couple inches, tends to help the rear from bellying quick.
