what size engines do these cavaliers have? A British manufacture called Vauxhall produced a car from the mid 70's to the mid 90's en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vauxhall_CavalierFunnily enough, Vauxhall also produced a car called the 'Nova'. Chevy also had a car called the Nova too? Chances are you've heard about how Chevrolet had problems marketing the Chevy Nova automobile in Latin America. Since no va means "it doesn't go" in Spanish, the oft-repeated story goes, Latin American car buyers shunned the car, forcing Chevrolet to embarrassedly pull the car out of the market I've not heard that particular story but have heard a few translations of car models meaning either rude or 'unsuitable' phrases! Two cars popular here in the UK banger world are the Ford 'Granada' and Ford 'Cortina' Granada is an island off of the cost of Spain which has a notorious reputation for where people go to get drunk, get laid and experiment with various paraphernalia Cortina roughly translated as 'Curtains' in Spanish, we have a saying here something to affect of 'its curtains for that' meaning its no good or something is wrong but the name Cortina is the name of another Spanish Island at which the Winter Olympic games was hosted on in 1956 and was highly successful

Looking at getting an 87' 2 door Cav. Anybody run that year and have any tips? The older cavys are pretty tough car. I would run it in a heartbeat. I had a 85 wagon and the motor wouldn't quit. Tom

i have a 98 bubble sunfire i am currently building, and im not entirely sure how the 02 sensors are going to work out, in the older cavis the 02 sensor at the cat is no prob to remove, but my question here is how does the sensor on the manifold relate to how the car will run if removed, any help on this and any tricks any one can help out on would be greatly appreciated
