Out of curiosity has anyone attempt to transition over to a strut setup and fab up a lower part to the spindle and bolt thru in 2 spots once welded all around and cured correctly and removing the shock completely along with a arms and weld in a nice big piece of 1/4 and run a 1” rod for a bolt joint try that plate once it’s welded in and use a c lock but to allow pivotal for upper was a drunken thought the other night amkear613/chiefnavajo91 : You guys ever figure out a cure for them dam spindles or any aftermarket ones ? Ran a 98 2 door accord this past saturday and a dam first timer hits left front tire during a red flag about 30 seconds into the heat and broke the spindle. still ended up 7 or 8th out of 24 cars with no steering till left axel finally broke from tire laying down. Pm ya I just tried one Saturday and maaaay have a fix idk

Ran this P.O.S 98 accord for 2nd time lastnight and kiss my a$$ if the same dam left front axel broke again. last fall spindle/axel broke. lastnight the casting broke where tie rod bolts then came the axle apart. Worst part it runs great and a rust free car but has not yet bent front or back. Last time fixing it , next time it will burn.
I FREAKING HATE HONDA'S !!!

Any info on the v6? I have a Honda pilot 3.5l and can't find any tips for it. Wanna know if the 3.5l takes heat like the four cylinders.

1999 Honda Civic. If I remove the rad do you have to run a filler neck or can I just loop the hoses

I agree, on a Honda alternators aren't really needed, but I like it ad a luxury item so if you're running heats/feature or have a junk run after the regular show you have a fully charged battery at all times. Right up until the point the core support hits the positive post on the alenator. cost me a win it will shut the whole shebang down

Well, our alternator condom failed last night. So, what is it that pops when the alt post grounds out? put an inline fuse inline from alt to main fuse I know this is old but anything that helps or run alt wire to battery.

Does a97 accord have the same main fuse on the firewall? I've looked and can't seem to find it. Any help is greatly appreciated and any other tips. Its being ran at a pretty basic build show. Just has the 2.2l in it Yes, it is in the fuse box under the hood by the firewall, it is one of the larger fuses. It will leave you stranded if it blows. The fan or radiator support coming in contact with the alternator positive stud is the main cause of it blowing. Use several layers of floor mat or wood to protect it. or inline fuse so it blows fuse first did this twice and it worked but we got rid of radiator and did really well
