www.youtube.com/watch?v=kitgHNfmNmQ&feature=g-upl pink car. First derby it was in was 102 inch wheelbase class. Had electrical problems. 2nd derby placed 2nd 105 inch wheelbase class. should have placed 1st if there wasn't teaming going on. Rammed the guy who won it up on the dirt ridge and stuck him there till his teammate came along and knocked him off. I was backing up to make another head on hit and forgot about the dirt ridge behind me and as I remembered and put on the brakes it was too late because he pushed me up there. They never got me off of the ridge and I was out. Power steering plastic box got broke and made a small fire. I drove the car back to the trailer and loaded it after it was pushed off. Use the backend for big hits and make sure it rolls up. Make the first hit hard so that it does roll up. They placed us rear to rear with other cars so that helped. Engine only died once dual batteries made it jump to life. Shifter ended up being bent I was hit and had ahold of the shifter at the same time. Ran half or more of the class with the shifter bent at a 90.

Notched about 6 inches back from rear bumper where it hooks on to. Prebent it as well. Rolled up fairly nice.

Actually 106.5. The shows were basically show up with something that kind of looked like a compact. W bodies were in a 102in wheelbase show. The rules said 102 and 105 humorous. Looking for one of those newer fwd cadillacs that came with a 6cylinder or I would try to put one in there wonder how they would do. They could at least say what is allowed and what is not allowed.

Any ideas on fixes of motor mounts. Motor mounts broke one to the bell housing of transmission broke the aluminum of the bell housing broke where it bolts in to up front. Then passenger side the motor mount broke there as well where it hooks into the body. Duct tape?

Duct tape it is then. Guess I will have to get creative. I'll post up some time in the future what I'll do.

Any other suggestions for the overflow bottle if I can't get an inline filler neck? I was thinking of trying to connect the rad hoses together with a piece of pipe. I did this on a Lumina and ran it 3 times that way. And I was thinking of running my 76 New yorker bumper on the front.

I just unbolt the tank and let it "float"!

I am running my first Contour next season and I was looking for some tips for these cars. I couldn't find anything listed on the main page. Just wondering if they are any good, weakness, strengths, what to do to make them stronger? You know, all the normal stuff! Any help would be great.
