Got a quick question for everyone. I am allowed to cold tilt and usually have at the crossmember, but I am required to leave all the stock body mounts in place(Rules say to not even touch them). I am also allowed 2 down bars to the frame. Would cold tilting at the crossmember still be my best bet with leaving the body mounts in or should I look to tilt it elsewhere?

In front of a arms an option or do they consider your core support mounts as body mounts

Anyone have pictures of how to set up front suspension? I’m running Aluminum cradle, with grey area bolt in cradle. Curious to how to weld a arms down and what not! TIA!

In front of a arms an option or do they consider your core support mounts as body mounts We are allowed to change those ones out and run a spacer at the core support I was also wondering how a cold tilt in front of the arms would hold up. I'm allowed a 14 inch bumper plate with a 4 inch angle iron for engine hold down chains. Also one pre fix it plate per rail on fresh cars if I chose to use it there. In your instance I'm assuming you won't have much for a bumper plate let alone a plate to cover the bend. I don't think it would take to many hits before the rails were back where they started at. Now weld the fenders on solid and pressure the front rails down with an extra long core support mount then maybe.

Always caution pressuring an 03 with sto k alum cradle..they can only flex so much before snapping you can pre load the rails some but certainly wouldnt go to far like on a pre 03

They’ll just bend or break stuff. Solid F150 struts, the Vic coils and stock steel Arms. You’ll like what you see. You do it right, you’ll have the A arms bottomed out on the aluminum and the coils will be a ball joint protector.

And I’ll be running 15’s with 5.50’s, what would the ride height be looking like?

With the f150 struts you should pretty easily be able to run 23’s

With the f150 struts you should pretty easily be able to run 23’s The only problem I’m seeing with that, is I’ll be running a front brake because my pinion is going under a different car. I was going to fabricate a custom solid strut, but if the f150 struts are the way to go I’d assume save the time and go that route. Just unsure if there is a certain year of the f150 struts that are preferred.
