Is it hard to tilt when the body is still on. I can only tilt once per frame rail and I can use my frame repair on it. Should I place it there or where else on the frame. I get 12 inches of plate on both sides. Yes but can be done. Especially if you cold tilt... I like tilting at crushbox personally. Plates depends on bumper mounting rules and suspension rules...

I'd tilt vs cold bending so box from tire has more room and depending rules my have a full weld around the box. An then I'd put the plate from a arm to z box. I'd do that even with just a hardnosed front bumper with no plate or shock behind it.

I have a question about rear coils . Has anyone ever tried to double up the rear coils ? Or does anyone know of someone who has ? I would like to know how it’s done .

Has anyone ever straightened the front rails? What’s the best way to go about it?

No I mean fresh. Modifying the front frame rails from an S shape to a straight line I have seen it, takes a tremendous amount of work to do it, alot of cutting and it is kind of a trick to have steering stay in same position. You have to have a very open set of rules to do it, and if 03s are allowed I would say that is probably less work and you eliminate the spring pocket.

Most guys ivery saw now are just pressuring the front rails with the bumper instead of straightening them.
