With the car being uni body in rear your really don't need all thread it just helps. Like can you add leafs? Flat stack? Chain the rearend/leafs down? Front end wise I would say hard nose it an let it bend in front of the a arms so it allows you to keep running instead of making it give at firewall fast.

this question has been addressed earlier in this thread, also in the "Mopar trunks" thread...
on the very first page of this thread the discussion starts about building these trunks. 6th post from the top someone did a copy and paste job of something I wrote on the subject way back in the early 2000's and even though techniques and technology has moved on since then the basis is still true- the worst thing you can do with C body Mopars is to weld the trunk lid down in its stock configuration and walk away.
How is the trunk pan? I've had darn few without at least a few weak spots. Overall the 65-66 Chrysler trunk is the stiffest of all the C body cars but I still build them to roll at the midpoint. I like to see them wad up halfway between the bumper and rear window, then they last a whole lot longer for me.

If I’m removing the front calipers would it be ok to just plug the master cylinder port that feeds the front brakes? Somebody told me if I just undo the 2 front brake lines out of the proportioning valve then that would be fine. Just worried about the pedal being rock solid if I plug it at the master cylinder. Car is a 71 fury with P/B btw

What’s the best kind of bumper to run on the front of one of these? I’ve got a chance to get a 74 elite front or a box vic front..

It depends on how much the car is built. Don't put more than it can handle I run weld car so I run loaded MOPAR bumper

Vic will be flat in no time, the elite is the way to go. However if loaded the vic could help the car last longer

Hard question to answer...if stock or fairly stock id put vic on it and not worry to much. Elite bumper is much harder and will defiantly take toll on frame but id run that too. All preference

They’re both just seam welded so I’m thinking the elite is still better for it? It’s a pretty stockish build as well
