I remember someone else mentioning it in another thread somewhere, I'm pretty sure it was stated that a stock big block mopar car p/s hose works on a chevy.

don't know the direct answer to your question since I don't run chev engines BUT when putting a Mopar engine in a Ford or GM chassis I have spliced the pressure lines together. Cut the metal part of the tube on each, clean up the cut, and weld them together. Takes all of 5 minutes.

just post the image somewhere else like photo bucket, and post a link. trying to upload a pic on proboards is an absolute joke, the option shouldn't even be there...

^^^ edit your post so that you have it in this format:
[img_] blah blah blah (URL of the pic) [/img_]
....take out the "_" character between the "g" and the "]", I just put them there so that it would show up for you to see

close, but your URL is for your Photobucket page and not the pic itself. Try clicking on the pic to get the large view THEN right click on that to get the document link. Then it will look like this: your star wheel lock lever looks a little goofy to me, maybe I can find a pic of one of mine and post it

I unusually just hook the spring to the other pad and get rid of the self adjuster. It makes the initial shoe adjustment tricky but they never move on their own. The spring catches on the wheel. This is a 12 bolt but I have done a mopar. As far as I can remember, I do them all the same.

This is a good point.... the self-adjuster exists because these are designed to work for thousands of road miles. In a derby application this function is not necessary. You can get away with just finding the correct spacing for the shoes and using a fixed spacer in place of the self-adjusting mechanism.

you don't actually turn the tortion bars, if you are trying to crank the big nuts on the center cross member under the engine, you are wasting your time. there is a small bolt under each lower control arm. both bolts turn to the right to add tension and lift the body. Good luck.

Just got the 8 3/4 rear setup in my 83 Chrysler imperial. The rear was out of a. 67 Chrysler 300. I don't have the driveshaft from the 67 Chrysler. It there an adapter u joint that would go from the 83 Chrysler driveshaft to the 67 rear yoke
