You would know... ;D I wish this one i built was just as hard! It may not of been as hard as the 73, but it got the job done. And yes, I took some good licks from it i had a blast running again it but screwed up my knee hitting it head on in the middle of the track full throttle ;D

ok, that is the same size i was going to use, i agree by your pics, that size tire, a arms welded down down looks like enough height for front

Pull the stops and weld the upper where it touches with the car jacked up. Then beat the other side down until it touches and weld. Then plug weld where the bump stop was. JMO
