Couple questions for a 72 coupe, do i need to cut the trunk braces out on it also, and is tucking the only way to go, i can weld it all the way around and even weld bumper to body, get two pieces of all thread in the trunk in place of the two body mounts right behind the tires, can't leaf or plate humps. suggestions?

72 cadi put in a sbc 305 with 3 speed man trans. The first run broke lower ball joint. This is after second run and a mad dog win man! i really like the looks of that caddy and how well it held up. awesome

I'm just curious as to y but I thought all rearends mounted the same from 69-76.... I put my 74 housing under my 71 to roll it around till I build that car and the pinion is pointing at the ground dang near ....not a big deal since my 9" will go in for the derby but just wondering as to y its pointing down so low

I picked up a 72 4 door Caddy. Car has a older 472 crate motor with around 1000 miles on it. I was curious how well the 472's do? Thanks

They do pretty good. I would not be afraid of it.

Thanks If you don't have a derby specific engine/tranny set up, I would run it. Stock they should be pushing some thing close to 300hp and 500flbs of torque and the run good hot. For yourself two passenger side manifolds, or is it driver side??? and flip them upside down and you have a set of through the hood exhaust.
