Just another Cadillac for my hometown show. Won't have $3,500+ and 4-5 months invested into this build, I'll be a first-time daddy within a couple of weeks. Maybe Stromi can give some wise tips, from a wise man.

I'm not an expert on anything including metric Caddy. Best advice is tuck, notch, and pray. Those cars drop faster than Monica Louwinski.

One more quick tip (even if there is a specific thread for those... but since this thread is pretty quiet...) "Re-weld" all the factory body seams and overlaps (where the spotwelds are), specifically where the firewall, passenger door and passenger fender meet. With the big hole left in the firewall after removing the heater fan, this area gets pretty flimsy... And like Stromi said, tuck, notch, light prebending and lots of praying!

I did mine with a big notch about a foot from the end of the frame then another about 6-8inches closer to the humps and after a heat I put a slice in the frame on the top side right behind the body mounts and it all wadded up and I could see fine out of the back even after the feature and it still tried to blow the humps out

I had a lot of luck on three of these last year with an aggressive notch. The one even had a set of 27-8.50-15s on the rear instead of the usual 16 inchers. The "gangsta" that previously owned it must have had some twentee-tews on it because there are 3 spring risers on each coil spring, lol.

Very nice canoe job.... you'd think that would hit the dirt like that? Were you allowed hump plates

Thanks. no hump plates is a stock class car i just dish the humps In. I have had better luck dishing trunk than tucking them. Just like he said cut the bracing inside trunk beat Lower 1/4s up I double notch and pre bend haven't had one hit dirt yet this one was setup same way this is after 3rd run on it I love these caddys for stock class once you get the ass down to what works for you there hard to beat
