In any event I was just being a smarta$$ thought I saw the bumper flopping around but watched it again and maybe I was seeing stuff. So I went from a being smartA$$ to a dumba$$. Ooops. Sorry I ruffled your feathers chief.

So whats the best sounding style headers, short, tall or forward dump headers?

That all depends on your preference. To each their own but I think tall 4into1's sound the best with a built motor. I have heard some 2" main tall turn outs that sounded BA aswell.

Tall, plus in my eyes they make the most power, since they scavenge the exhaust better. Almost same concept as long tubes.

I used hss mandrel bent 4 into 1... 1 5/8 primaries on my latest 383 stroker build.... and they have a sound like nothing I've ever heard... and I've had several strong engines on my run stand... well the headers and having 620 horsepower probably helps out a little
