It won't melt down if you have piston squirters. 😎

Scott we are just making some fun, we do our best to drive smartly and we are just excited to finally have a good engine that should help us maybe win some more shows and it just happens to sound good too.

It won't melt down if you have piston squirters. 😎 Those are a thing of the past. Now the hype is gas tank squirters!

Don't forget the super bowl carb that made 25 h.p gains on the dyno, except when we were talking to Willy's, while setting up one on a modified, they told us to not expect any power gains from it, all it will do is be way more responsive off the corners.

Or the people who are taking their 500 HP engines to their local builder to have freshened and their local builder says, "hey, the parts in this engine won't make 400 horse, much less 500. Then get put on a dyno and show less than 400. It's happening, and is funny and sad at the same time. I hate that our sport has allowed the hype to happen, but not sad when someone falls for it after I preached on here about HP for a long, long time.

Do people really have their derby engines dynoed? If so, that’s the most ignorant thing I’ve ever heard. How much horsepower can you honestly expect with compression bent 1 1/2 primary headers and a 2g intake and carb?

Any pics of a 55ish block mounted. Picked one up I know it's gonna need a lower cradle to put in a car. Curious what others have done before I start to fab a lower cradle mount

It will have to mount via the bosses on the front of the engine... no oil filter in 55 either right?

Figuring I better hook into more then just the 2 holes on each side to mount it or may take chance of busting block. Was thinking of wrapping it in front and mid plate and run mounts off the plates that connect plate the plates

If you're headers aren't cherry red by the end of the night then you didn't try/hit hard enough,
