Also what are the differences in the strength of a buick frame vs the chevy, poniac, olds, etc. I am bringing home a 73 Buick electra 225 2 door. My buddy told me to pick the 73 buick over a 72 olds even though the olds had cleaner floors. The buick is solid everywhere other than the floor boards. He just said the buick is a better stronger car. @stromi 121 or anyone else able to tell me why. Please talk to the mopar guy LOL

buick electra 225 will be boxed frame in the middle, and if the olds isnt a 98 it will be C channel. Personally ive never seen much difference in strength between the two. The 73 buick could be a tow package strap car which might help a little. The olds will have plastic inner fenders which is the main complaint about olds. Firewall forward the two cars frames are identical. neither have good bumpers but the buick will have decent brackets. I would take the buick over the olds if even quality, but personally hate dealing with rust so id take the olds if it was a lot cleaner.

Both trunk pans are clean. The buick has rust in the floors and the olds doesn't. The Buick is a 2 door with tow package and the olds is a 88.

Buick all day for all the reasons previously listed. Plus the front clip is better on the buick in my opinion.

I'd get the Buick as well. Mostly because of the tow package.

They are both good cars. The 72 98 has rear fender contours that are too strong for it's own good and will usually go down. The 225 is overall better car for a 73 vs 72.

I don't know but it really doesn't matter. Cars don't bend under the doors. Don't make this an issue on wether or not to pick up a car. I disagree with this at least for the 73 Rivvy. The only place it has bent hard at is under my feet where it goes to C channel.

Buy both if possible and priced right...they both can be good county fair cars.
JUST my opinion though
