Is there anything special to do with the long rear bumper mounts on a 73 pontiac. Thought about just welding them to the frame. But thought maybe I amight missing something.

I would just weld it to the frame. That and a light dimple on the rails where the c channel starts will make the rear fold very well.

I always double fimple to have a tighter roll, but i never had the long brackets either.

What is the best way to hard nose a bumper on a 73 pontiac. I can use 1/4x3 flat tout mount it to theveryone frame. Not sure if squaring off the end of the frame and hard nosing it is the way to go of not. Seems like it will sit it really far into the core support.

Square it off and use shocks on the side of the frame. Or use angle at the end of the frame with the plate welded down the side, connected to the back side of the angle so "its one single piece".

1972 impala. Hobo rules unlimited 9 wire. Hard-nosed 76 Monte bumper. Allowed 4 4x4 plates per rail where would you use them?

I assume that a 72 Rivi would fall into this category, but haven't found a lot of info on them. Still a worthy car compared to the 74-76? Much like the 71-73 Impalas as far as differences to build between 4-6? Thanks for the help.

Never leafed a car rules say we can do figured I'd try. find or build a leaf pack that will fit in the front lower trailing arm mount and is long enough to just make it to the end of where the frame starts to be C channel. seen them be pretty good like that, rearend choice doesnt really matter thats all preference. leaf perches are easily moved.
