On the 70s we don't tilt them we do bridge them tho. When u get to the metrics is when u tilt. Everyone's got their own way tho. Just isn't worth the time in a 70s since they are pretty straight. If u tilt to much then frame could end up going to the ground in the front. Saw it happen many times

Will any mid 70s frame horns work for my 72 Olds 98? i cannot hardnose and do not want to use the stock bumper, looking to put a mid 70s GM pointy on.

Does anyone know a way to raise up the front end of a 71-73 BOP? I have a twist in spring spacer in, but would still like to be up another inch or two. I am not allowed to weld the A-arms down.

Derby2racer: Swap spindles with a ford to gain some. The answer I never got was if ford spindles raise it an fords swap to a astro van spindle then why not just put the Astros on the impala an just, set ur bumper height Derbyking88s: the wicked spindles should work since ford spindles work to rasie the fronts on the impalas.

Swap spindles with a ford to gain some. An the wicked spindles should work for the other question above since ford spindles work on the impalas Are the 80s ford spindles a direct bolt on swap? And do i need to change any other parts or just the spindle itself?

My understanding is just swap the spindles an should bolt right on. The s10 an Astros will get u more height then the fords.

Awesome. Thanks. Do you know if the ford/astro/s10 spindles are any stronger or weaker than the 71-73 BOP spindles?

All fords u have saw all of them. All seem to hold up very well but the ford ones as stated before in thread sit out fron frame an don't huge the spring bucket so more of a choice to break then the gm products on a gm
